The clumps of Spanish Moss hanging dripping from the massive live oaks has always been one of the things I always picture when I think of Savannah Georgia- or jut of cities in the south east in general. This Spanish Moss collection is an homage to all of our beautiful moss covered trees in the south east that add a touch of whimsy and magic to the scenery. It is reminiscent of a silver tree of life with a southern gothic twist.
This pendant is solid sterling silver, and features the branches of a tree stretching upwards and wrapping around the beautiful 15 mm moss agate stone. It sits on an especially gorgeous 18 inch sterling silver double rope chain. It weighs a total of 11 grams. The pendant stands 36mm tall, making it the perfect size for a statement necklace without being overwhelming.
The stone used in this piece is moss agate. Moss agate is a variety of quartz with green moss-like inclusions. Each stone is completely unique and may vary- with some containing more or less green and some being darker or lighter.
